Very nice looking snake. What would you say the Trick did to it as far as visual markings go?

The side pattern is were it shows it. in each pattern area it looks like it is melting down to the belly. Were as a normal Black pastel lesser it doesnt do that its actually quit white for about 1/4th the way up on a black pastel lesser. Also the amount of speckling around the spots inside the pattern.

Here is a link to a Black Pastel Lesser without the trick.

I see the melting thing now. Kinda reminds me of the Extreme gene thing Ken has going. I honestly would have thought it would make a way crazier pattern than that after seeing the Cheetah ball. I'm wondering if the Cheetah was a one time thing as I haven't seen any others besides the one Gary posted.

im with u here. ive said it in the other thread also- i doubt this is a trick combo. its a lesser liesen line black pastel to me.

id def wish u its a trick combo, but considering it didnt came from a trick breeding, i wouldnt be too sure it really is a trick lesser black pastel.

liesen line bp's have this kinda pattern- doesnt surprise me that they continue to show it in combos....
There is nothing so annoying as to have two people talking when you're busy interrupting.

Ahhh, that's right, it makes more sense now why it didn't look all that different. Still a damn sweet snake!

After seeing the lesser trick and black pastel trick, I'm 100% positive this is a black pastel lesser trick. Gary's black pastels don't have this kind of pattern. I own them... they only do when they have the trick gene in them, like a few of the great examples you see online do and are misrepresented. Recently, to the surprise of black pastel owners popping out Tricks, much like Jeremey.

I've seen Jeremey's sire, and it presents something only a black pastel spider trick would have, and his does. So it was a trick breeding.

I really don't want to get into the markers and what not, but please just congratulate Jeremey on this snake, because it is in fact a trick combo.

The Trick gene is variable, and reacts with other genes the same way. The trick pin wasn't a fluke, just a nice example.

    Congrats Jeremey, beautiful snake!

Very nice I see the trick in there, lesser black pastels do not do with without the trick gene.. Now get out there and make some more so you can send some this way

would have thought the trick gene would have done more, I guess it's not so ex-stream in some combos. Contrats it's a wonderful snake

I have talked to Gary and many others my black pastel spider is indeed a black pastel spider trick. The tell tell sign is in the belly I can post belly pics if you want to see.

I would also like to see the belly. I have a girl I'm hoping and praying could be something tricky.
