Yesterday we did 5 shows at one school. That is a crazy long day talking about the animals. We had a little over 1000 kids learn about our scaly friends. Some of these kids came up to me afterwards and said they want to teach people about reptiles when they grow up. Nothing like hearing a 2nd grader tell you something like that. It's a great feeling for sure. Now today we get the day off and its time to clean and feed. I'm wore out and the animals are enjoying a day of
I have been into and have had reptiles for most of my life. And during that time I wanted to be a breeder and create great animals and sell blah blah blah. Now that I have been doing shows for the past yr and a half I find myself slowly exiting out of the breeding game. I still breed my Tegu's and now starting to breed some Tarantulas. But the education part of the hobby is where I want to stay. Over the last 18 or so months I have done over 300 shows and I know this is what I am doing for a career.
