I found this online interview with Greg Graziani about the recent Burm hunt in the Everglades. (http://www.loe.org/shows/segments.htm?programID=09-P13-00031&segmentID=8)
Larry, BT...were you both scooped? ;)

MP3 version here (http://stream.loe.org/audio/090731/090731python.mp3)

Real Audio version here (http://loe.org/audio/stream.m3u?file=http://stream.loe.org/audio/090731/090731python.mp3)

Greg sets the public straight on the real reason the Burms are there.
Hopefully this show has some listeners!

Sounds odd, like it's all chopped up. Kinda like they took Greg's comments and inserted them after the questions in a studio like format...

Or maybe we should all be sleeping instead of being on the BLBC at 5am...bleery-ear hearing?

Actually, the interviewer is probably using better recording means than a phone and blogtalk, and Greg called in.

Whats that suppose to mean? I wasn't comparing the two. We do the best we can with what we have available.

Damn man that was harsh as hell for an honest opinion...sounds more like you have something invested in his interview.

What is this suppose to mean & how dare you put down BLBC or blogtalk??

BTW I am on here at 5AM & can hear just fine

Sounded like a pretty decent interview but I think Larrys right and they cut and inserted Gregs responses. Didnt seem "live" to me at all.

My comment wasn't meant to discredit RR, you or BT at all. I LOVE RR and have loyally listened to every show from the first! All I meant was that I thought the clarity of the interviewers voice was due to him probably using professional recording devices (which made his voice so rich-sounding) and his own website/streaming server as opposed to using a service like Blogtalk. Maybe I should have made that point more clearly?

Honestly, I didn't mean anything bad by my comment, and my comment about being on the BLBC late at night was a (poor) attempt at a joke. Heck, I was on at the same time at night!

I'm a bit shocked that so many took such quick offense and ganged up on me. I'm trying to make the BLBC my home, and have been a member since Oct. '08. I've never tried to be controversial or confrontational in my posts. Now I feel as if I'm trying to join a clique that doesn't want outsiders. Please tell me that isn't true...or tell me if you want me to get lost...and I'll go.

Sorry.

If you didn't mean anything by it, then no biggie. I'll take your word on it. Sometimes this internet thing is kind of tricky when it comes to truly reading people. Just a simple misunderstanding, no I would never want anyone to leave over a simple misunderstanding.

Hell I've had it out and argued with just about everyone here. I even gave constrictorkeeper infactions points at one time..lol

No sweat. You are always welcome here

That's a relief...thanks. I honestly hadn't felt that bad in a long time, especially since I had once had to defend, with risk to a working friendship, my loyalty to RR and the BLBC to someone I would rather not mention here (pm me). I know that things do get messed up in the written word, and after having been online since the public web's inception and having myself managed several message boards myself since '97, you would think that I would have had that figured out by now. :o I also have to stop posting late at night when my head isn't as sharp as it should be.

Larry, thanks for understanding.

Sound quality on the interview sounds great on my end. Doesn't sound pasted together either, but I'd say you're dead on about the professional equipment making his voice sound better than Graziani's.
