His dad was a normal pastel, who was produced by a pastel female and a granite male.

This guys dad, produced granites in two different clutches. INSANE looking critters he throws. I have a feeling, and im not sure if i will be right or not. But that this "gene" might skip a generation. At least, from what i know currently. Who knows. In a year or so's time, ill know if this guy will make them himself. and if he dosnt, im keeping ALL the babies he produces, more than likely. and seeing if they produce granites. If they do, Im letting brandi know right away.

Who knows. It happens in humans, maybe it will happen with these snakes? I dont know enough about genetics to really honestly say one way or the other. But wouldnt it be cool if that was the case?!

You know, I never really thought much of granites, but that one you have is pretty nice. I've never seen a granite as nice looking as that one. Congrats.
