Looks like a grasshopper that's possibly just molted. Wings gotta dry out yet. Do they do that?

I wasn't aware grasshoppers molted in their life times, but that's certainly what that looks like. I'm sure it wasn't born that size.

That's the other thing that throws me. There's no outter wing covers. Did you stick around to see what it looked like once the wings dried out?

Yup, they molt... I used to breed a type of plague like grass hopper when I had ackies and Storri monitors, it's pretty cool to see em molt.

No I didn't stick around, found it right before my lunch was up and had to hit the road so I only got to sit and watch it move them around a bit...it was almost like they weren't used to having them...
