Very nice! I just picked up our first carpet for my son at the Tampa show. Such a great animal.

What is the substrate in your display?

shredded coconut, sphagnum peat and sand. I got this mix from Anthony Caponetto's website. also it is pretty much the same mix they use for the bioactive substrate in the book "the art of keeping snakes" The snakes really react positive to this substrate. Here isthe link to his site.

Amazing displays, but isn't that a lot of maintenance? Also, do you live in an area w/temp extremes. Would love to have that, but I don't think it would work in NV.

I dont think so. I read the book "the art of keeping snakes" and tried out what he said and its pretty simple maintanence once you get it setup......From a breeders standpoint its not economical with space I guess......I mean if you have 100's of snakes I guess it would take up alot of room. I live in pa . I keep them in there own room so I dont really have any problems with temps.
