I'm a Packer Backer, living in Minnesota. Guess who just joined the Viqueens....yup, Favre. I have received many many emails from coworkers and friends expressing their deepest sympathies. LMAO!:lmao:

Yeah, I'm a Vikings fan but this just drives me crazy! $25 MILLION over 2 years for a has-been hack! He's going to turn 40 this Fall and his best years are behind him. The 'queens front office did this deal SOLELY to sell tickets...and, apparently, it's working! If you ask me, the Vikes should have gone after Micheal Vick! Sure, he's a dog killer but he did his time. Only cost the Eagles 1.5 million.

My prediction? Farve gets hurt in the 6th-7th game of the season and we're back to T-Jack and Sage. I also think the Eagles will waltz into the playoffs!

Just another bone head publicity stunt by the Vikes. Anybody remember running back Hershel Walker? How many millions of $$$ and 7 draft picks to Dallas for that total STIFF! He cost the Vikings 3 years of good draft picks! Meanwhile Dallas was killing everybody on it's way to Superbowl victories!

Farve is just another Walker minus the draft picks.

I don't get why anyone would sign him up, there is obviously a lack of quality younger QB's in league? To me, there really is no future in signing someone this old... it's not like you can build a team around someone on borrowed time.... :dunno:

I hate Favre, ever since the first time he retired and came back. He's a greedy douche.

Yes, I believe they were. They were playing Rogers when Farve was hurt and liked what they saw in Rogers...so, at the end of the season, the gave Farve a low ball contract offer knowing he'd refuse it and leave.

Excuse me, not a LowBall contract, he was told he would be the back-up quarterback and not the starter..........that put the stick in it and he packed up and left=his first retirement

That's the same as a low ball contract - they wanted him gone, obviously.... :lmao:
