Watch for this to be one of the first things taken on by the new change President who is only trying to bring all Americans together. He is going to bring all Americans together!

Who could be against bringing us all together? Nobody could without being a big jerk. Of course we would all like to get along. Of course we would all like to work together. So Obama has never reached across the isle before. So what? That doesn't matter because now that he is going to be President, he will reach across the isle to work with his former adversaries. Of course he will. All the other democrats can't wait to work with him as he brings us all together. He was only tricking the liberals to vote for him so he could get elected. Now he will be the President that will bring all Americans together at long last. Like he did when the passed the most liberal bills known to man in Illinois regarding the youngest and most defenseless among us.

Of course he was on the front line fighting for those defenseless little ones. Fighting to allow the killing of failed aborted babies who somehow were accidentally born alive, despite the best efforts of the "Doctor" to take the life from the child, before it could be born to breath that first breath of air. Air that of course is the true ingredient to life rendering that baby a mass of unidentifiable tissue till after it breaths it's first breath. Of course all reasonable people would all want that baby born alive to still be killed. That what civilized people do isn't it? All this, though the vast majority of Americans find partial birth abortions abhorrent, to use a mild word. In fact almost nobody would approve of the drowning of a live born violently attacked infant after it had the misfortune to be born alive. But such is the tremendous willingness of Obama to never allow any restriction whatsoever on abortion because he in fact is doing exactly that to bring us all together.

But I digress. The first and most important thing Obama must do is change the tone in our country. There is just too much division. To much disagreement. Fundamentally too much free speech, really if you think about it. If those dividers among us with those harmful conservative voices were simply silenced, we could all get along so much better. But he can't go against free speech directly. That would be too blatant for a main stream leader that we all know Obama is. Something else... Hhhmmm. I know! They have actually started some of this in Canada and it is working great! "Hate speech"!

If we can just label anything that is divisive and contrary to what we know all Americans want as "hate speech", then we can make that against the law and imprison those who violate the new hate speech laws. That is coming. First it starts with the "Fairness Doctrine" to silence conservative voices on the Radio and TV. The Fairness doctrine will force, AT THE POINT OF A GUN, all conservative radio stations to give equal time to liberal talk show hosts, which of course nobody wants to listen to. This will cause many radio stations to either fold or change there format effectively removing conservative talk radio from the airwaves. What harm will that do? Absolutely none of course. Conservative radio, and TV that allows a more fair and balanced approach, as opposed to a propagandists model we see from most of the media, are really the fundamental source of everything that is divisive in our country today. If the hate that comes from Limbaugh and the many others who only want to cause trouble for the rest of us was not allowed, we could all live in perfect peace and harmony. Remember how all the blond haired people got along so well in the land of the Warlocks in that "Time Machine" movie? Life could be so perfect if we all just could get along and quit disagreeing with those who have our best interest at heart.

Stir up the Kool-Aid for the masses for they have no idea what they have done.

I have been seriously thinking about things and the truth is this election has put alot on the hopes and dreams or catastrophes on one man, the man who is elected.

Well if you truly look at things the president is very powerful but the only thing we have truly seen and know to be true is that the only thing the pres can do without being checked and slowed is going to war. as we seen with iraq. without UN or cngress blessing we went.

other than that there is so much the president and congress and many other factors come into play when it comes to specific votes. we have a democratic majority and still most major life changing votes that have gne through the rounds are always a close when it cmes to the majority. votes turning out 52 and 48 een with the majority being democrats. as long as we continue with a system of checks and balances we will be fine. It's when the checks and balance system fails then we fail. and thats up to everyone in washington not one man elected president.

where i am going with this is the fact most of the time the president is just the face of the nation and its voice to the world which can be good and bad. but most the time they are the face for either blame or praise whether it was truly their work or not. hell clinton was the face of a great economic expansion in our time but most just know he got head from an intern.

So what im saying is that although not my choice hopefully Obama can be the face of change and since so many turned out to vote one way or another it will force washington to NOT become radical and go against the promises because those masses will still be watching.

The only real issue now is the hints and iffy looks to a new world order type future which can be scary and very socialist in nature or scary ala armegeddan. Or he can use this time to truly unite a country in a much greater way. Using his charisma culd do great or terrible things.

the problem is
1)no matter who won they are still politicians and they can NEVER be trusted.
2)The postion of power and persuasion can corrupt even the best people and its a fine line of united country and world with a new world order.

Ceaser was charasmatic and put into power and did many great things but did not end up steping back down once he got used to the postition.

Hitler made great promises and ws charasmatic and did great things for germany but also commited great attrocitie and was the focus of a world war.

I am not comparing obama with hitler i am just comparing men with great charasma and intentions have a choice to be great or be evil. I hope Obama chooses to be the hero and not the villan.

We will just have to see how it plays out.

now my head hurts

Jeff, I fear you are right. It's already been proposed, this "Hate Speech", and with the likes of Pelosi, Reed and Obama, it's likely to be enacted. It's very likely they will see this election as a victory for liberalism and start to push through every radical item on their agenda. All we can do is fight them for every inch. We've got to let every american that was not willing to pay attention before, wake up start paying attention to what's going on in this country. We are being taken over from the inside by radical liberalism, and the masses won't like it one day when they wake up to find they already live in a socialist country. The best we can do, is do what the media refuses to, and spread the word. That our freedoms are under attack, and it's those that won't pay attention that are helping to defeat liberty. We all have the right to vote, but we have an obligation to know what we are voting for, and people need to start informing themselves as to what our "leaders" in washington are really up to.
