There's not a lot of information on the blurry ball either. Has it been determined to be genetic? If so, does anyone know of any projects that people are working them into? Would you consider this girl to be a blurry?
She's a crazy sexy animal, and I can't wait for her to grow up and dink around with her!
The black on her is deep black - the ONLY blushing on her is her head. She has flames between every side pattern as well as sections of white rising up from her belly. Her side patterns are outlined in white.

At about 7 o'clock you can see one of the areas where it's white that creeps up, rather than the traditional flaming:

Yes, I'd consider her a blurry.
My Blurry project may turn out to be recessive..
My Blurry x Spider project didn't prove, but I have a female that I will be plugging into a co-dom het blurry one of these days, so until then, the ones I have are just normal, but totally kick ass. :)

Those who have seen her have advised me to breed her to either a YB or a mojave. We still have a year or two of raising her before I have to make that decision!
Good luck in your blurry project, Heather!

I had some really nice blurries that I picked up as CH babies in 05 -- I dumped them as yearlings since everyone said that they wouldn't be genetic -- so far none of them has proven out so I'm glad I didn't waste my time -- I do hope you ladies have better results -- even if they aren't genetic they are good looking animals.
Good luck!

That's interesting. I don't remember where or who I heard it from, I only remember it being someone I respected telling me in a conversation that breeders are quietly working with blurries right now to see how they affect other projects, and that's why you don't hear much about them. Much like YB's were sort of written off as nothing special until people worked with them more.
But like you said - even if they aren't genetic - I'm happy to have her in my collection - she'll still be a valued breeder!

Yep you saw YB's and then Poof! they went the way of the doodoo then Pop goes the weasel here's the Ivory. People were doing YB's under the table for along time. I just hate that they dropped in price before their full potential was realized.
