I fell in love with the desert in Daytona when I saw a Tiger on Pete Kahl's table. I kept pulling everyone I knew over to the table and saying "I've found my next project - got the enchi - now I need the desert".

I fell head over heels in love with the desert that day. It was shortly after that, that Robyn started posting pictures on KS of the different desert combos, because I remembered the Albey had recently picked up a desert and had e-mailed him about his desert. And then Chad talked about them on Reptile Radio soon after that.

But yes - I love the desert combos!

Larry/BT - didn't Chad say something about the females possibly being dwarfs? I need to go back and listen to that episode again.

No doubt about it that they are sweet! It gets harder and harder leaving Petes without a Desert and a Sugar......

Man.. so many morphs, so little time. I guess I'll just have to put some money aside for a desert soon.

Yea he did say they were like dwarfs which I believe could possibly hurt the mutation but hell what do I know. I guess we don't need breeder females of new morphs with all the adult morph females out there to run the male through..

Anyone know about the differences with this Desert and that co-dom/dom line keep hearing about?

I think it will get confusing - Jolliff has a line of Tigers which are un-related to the enchi/desert combo. I purchased a male Tiger from him last year that I'm breeding to a banded female this season. He says that they are co-dom.

This is my Jolliff Tiger (which is also possible double het snow)

This is the girl I'm pairing him with this season:

Tim Bailey (muddoc) took these pictures of some other Tigers that Michael had produced last year and some Tiger Pastels - the Tiger Pastels are what motivated me to pick up my Tiger.

I agree with you Phil, I saw the Desert's in Tinley on Pete's table and it was hard to walk away and not buy that animal. Too many morphs and not enough money...
