wrote a whole big thing( that i ain't gonna write again! ).
i didn't know it would be community-wide news.
i support this place because i really believe it to be the best gift (RR and BLBC) our much maligned community has ever received. i really do try to inspire you all to contribute in like fashion by getting personal in various ways, and appreciate the acknowledgements i've recieved from so many of you via pm. i implore you all to continue to make this place a vibrant (albeit sometimes controversial ! ) forum for all herpers to grow and develop, to seek and receive assistance, to run ideas up the virtual flagpole for consideration, and above all, have fun while doing so. by actively participating here, we are giving back to the guys who put it all out there for us. in the short time i've been observing these gentlemen up close, under the microscope they've erected, i couldn't help but sense the selfless commitment they've made to this community is both sincere, and for the greater good. (just ask the tadpole people ). they extended this opportunity to us, asking nothing in return. the best tribute we could offer, is to just enjoy it. hardly seems fair ! but, it's exactly what they want from us. so keep lovin' it, i plan to.
r-e-a-d some of the great posts out there by the likes of varanus and lucid and all the other great contributors who've also set up camp here.
have fun with it, you'd pay alot more and recieve alot less just about everywhere else !
