Genie laid a clutch of 20 eggs today. Got them in the bator. Most of them candle a strong fertile. Looks like "I have no name" has finally matured. Junior might be gravid as well unless she was able to outrun him. :) Can't feel eggs at this time.

Can you tell us more about the MHL.
I always wanted some but the WC I see always look like death-on-a-cracker.

Most of the WC are. I got a pair from LLL Reptile that were in very good condition. The male was a bit thin but they do look thinner than the females anyway. They are nice lizards. Very tame usually. My females are more so than the males. The babies are just plain fun. Eggs can take up to 6 months to hatch but I'm going to put some in a second incubator at about 82 instead of 75 (as I was taught) and see what happens. I read a thread on Kingsnake a couple years ago where a guy got his to hatch in 2 months. He said all of them lived but Marcia (Froggie B) Tried many different temps and humidities back in the late 90's and had the best results with 72-75. As far as I know the temperature does not determine the sex.
They are aborial and need room to climb. Once grown they aren't overly active (at least mine aren't). I always believed they need water to be moving to recognize it so I have an airstone in the waterbowl. It needs to be big enough for the dragon to get into. They do like to soak.
They eat earthworms, crickets and all sorts of larva. Need a calcium supplement. I've read they don't need uvb but I have a spiral lamp in the corner under a perch and they use it.
Marcia has a wonderful site. WWW.FroggieB.com. She gave me lots of advice and always answered my emails when I was panicked about my first clutch.

I'll try not to do that with this clutch. :) My adults won't eat unless I hold whatever I'm feeding right in their face. Gotta stop mothering everything. I'm astounded that Leah is so independant.

It's your signature Bonnie. MHD's that only eat when hand fed. Everyone will know they came from the best mom ever.
