My Dad is getting ready to cool his gophers and bulls so he asked if I would keep his DxCC cross for the winter. I love this snake, so I was more than happy have her come home with me for awhile. I snapped some shots of her earlier today and thought some of you might like to see her. She was produced by Eugene Bessette by breeding a pair of DxCC crosses. I like the coastal influence on her.

I need to get some carpets. They have always been a favorite and the first success I had breeding was with a pair of coastal carpets back in 2001. I bought them from VPI as hatchlings in '98 and raised 'em up and they made me proud on their first attempt.

Nice cross, very pretty. I think it's neat that your dad keeps snakes as well... I guess I'm the black sheep in my extended family.

Trust me, a lot of distant relatives think I am nuts. Mom and Dad actually bought me my first snake, an adult ball python in 1990 an I haven't looked back yet. My Dad has been going to shows with me since our first NRBE show in '92. Funny thing is he didn't finally start keeping his own stuff until about two year ago when he fell in love with a stillwater hypo X kingsville red bull at the Tampa show. He has since added another seven various pitouphis to his budding collection.

I want thank everyone for their nice comments. I really enjoy taking photos of my animals and I hope that everyone enjoys looking at them. If I get a little picture crazy just let me know and I will take the hint........LOL
