Im very fond of large snakes i own a few burms and a retic and im in the process of more burms and retics but ive been thinking alot about anacondas and i stumbled across a deal on a pair of baby yellows........But iono if im gonna get them yet cause i know nothing about anacondas or how to house them do they need a watery habbitat or just high humidity im clueless about them and would appreciate any info so that i can educate myself about them for when i do decide to get some

yellow's are kinda like boas but need a bigger water dish and a substrate that holds humidity well my pet store always has spagnum moss so thats what i use every thing else just like boas

Ya-- that... lol
I don't use a huge water dish-- just a standard size one, like I would for any other snakes.
If they soak too much they get kinda smelly and can get scale rot and its just gross.
I use a humid hide-- Like a 32 qt or a little larger, with moss or cypress in it-- and newspaper in the rest of the cage. We don't have problems with our girl shedding or anything.
I posted fresh shed yellow pics of our girl on here somewhere.
Yellows don't get nearly as big as greens-- our girl is about 8 foot, maybe a little longer and super tame.

Thank you for all the info sounds good i just fixed up some cageing and i guess im gonna order a pair this coming week pretty exciting
