I'm not sure if there's a "super", but I'd really doubt it, considering it's a simple recessive gene. There is someone listing some "patternless" ones, but I haven't seen them. Again, not sure if they are true patternless, or just very faded animals.

As for the eggs, this will be year #3 for me. These things have been the bane of my existence. The first 2 years I used MI for part of the incubation process, with poor results. Year 1, I wound up with one surviving hatchling that refused to feed after the first meal, and later died. 3 others were dead in the egg. Last season, the female was just being a picky eater, and I probably shouldn't have even paired them up given her body weight, which was what I would consider borderline for reproduction. All infertiles from this clutch.

This year, the female's been eating like a champ, as has the male. When she has refused, I've scented rats with quail(my miracle food!), and she'd take it every time. They've been moved into larger tubs, and now have more excersize. Body weight is excellent, and I'll be using artificial incubation for this clutch as soon as they're laid.

Praying for the best!

Yeah, Frank....quail can work some wonders!

Yeah and what else would you do with the 100 day old quail anyway's

I finally got my adult female BRB on rats after eating chicks/quail for 3 years, she just wouldn't take rats even when scented, then one day BAM...same with one of my JCP's, so I started using quail/chicks years ago to get the no goer's going.

Forgot to mention....those Granite Spotted's are looking good, I think this is the year bro!!!!
