Here is a pic of a small male hatchling I acquired from Mark Kenderdine. The mother was a W/C animal from Hendry County,Florida. She was an extremely nice example of rossalleni, VERY red/orange coloration, solid red tongue, etc...

This one turned out no different, he is a very nice specimen as well.

Top pic is shortly after the '08 Daytona Expo in August, the bottom pic is the same animal exactly 12 months later.

enjoy!, ~Doug

Thanks you guy's!,.......

Yeah,...their ontogenic change is pretty insane!. I know a lady that called me up and found a dead (blotched)Yellow rat hatchling, she emailed me a pic and she thought it was a Pygmy Rattlesnake..LOL!

I told her.."forget about it being ANYTHING other than a hatchling Yellow Ratsnake, and explained how they look like night and day compared to each other when they mature, and also showed her several pics that I had of my own stuff to show her. She later emailed back and said..."WOW!, you are right about that!". I replied,...."of course I'm right!,..we're talking about SNAKES remember?"..LOL!!
