Hey all,

Ok so I have 35 or more breeder size females this year and I dont have enough male morphs of course. I am going to breed at least a 5 to 1 ratio. Is this gonna be cool. I dont want to make it so the males cant produce anything but I need to get the most out of the males I do have. I really dont want to get nuts with the normals so I would like to stick to the morphs if possible. I am even paring them with some 100% hets males just so I get something. Does 5 to 1 sound ok? Thanks for your input.

It really depends on your males...If your males are older - 5 girls is easy...Hell there's people out there with ultra sounds that do up to 15 girls per male...If their young males - It depends on how the little guys hold up during the season...5 girls per male is usually my goal - You shouldn't have a problem...Keep an eye out for your more robust males and add in girls to his group as the season progresss...Good luck -

Damn we have the same problem but the other way around...

We have a bunch of male morphs but not nearly as many females as we would like (That are ready)... Looks like we may have a couple salad clutches LOL!

Be sure to post some pics of some of your breeders! Always nice to see big morph ball pythons! :letsparty:
