I have a hard time getting warm and fuzzy feelings about a person who recently said this: "95% of reptile people are scum of the earth period." I don't know, that's an awfully lot of people that got tossed together as scum. :dunno:

Justin said that on the Hognose forum on KS back in September on a thread that was later deleted by the mods but not before I saved it to my hard drive.

I don't think that's going to be it considering this was his, as well as everybody else besides Brent, first year breeding his male Anaconda. At best, he'll have hatched a female Anaconda this year to breed to his male in a year or two to hopefully produce a Super. So far, there are only 6 Superconda's in the world with Brent owning 5 of them and the other one which is in a private collection. ;)

I really dont think this is the place...... You havent posted here since March and this is what you choose to post about???? :dunno:

I really dont think this is the place......

Perhaps this isn't the right place. But since everybody else was sharing their feelings about this show, I don't find it any less appropriate to share mine and show the reason why.

While I respect your viewpoint, I really don't know what my posting quota has really to do with anything at all. If posting my feelings about this upcoming show was inappropriate (although others are free to share their enthusiasm for it), I apologize. But I won't apologize for what Justin has freely said on a public forum about the rest of us because I for one was offended by his generalized remark and I hate to see him use Reptile Radio or any other media as his own personal PR machine despite his blatant comments and disregard to the many fine breeders out there in the world.

Being an active member says a lot. It looks fishy when you havent posted here since March and your first post is a slam on Justin. Makes it look like you have a hidden agenda to me. I dont know Justin or you but to me your post just doesnt sit well.....

I dont know what was said on kingsnake because I dont go there. Maybe a pm to BT or Larry would have been more appropriate.

I agree, sounds like Rextiles has some questions........

Being an active member says a lot.

Well, there's two sides to that coin. You can be a very active member and have absolutely nothing pertinent to say or you can not be very active until you have something pertinent to say. I am the latter. Sure, I can make a thousand posts simply stating "cool pickup" or whatever. However, I only choose to say something when I really have something to say.

It looks fishy when you havent posted here since March and your first post is a slam on Justin.

Really? I mean seriously, how is anything I said about Justin a slam? Did I say anything about him? No. Did I express an opinion about him or his practices? Not really. I merely stated that I will find it hard to get excited about listening to an episode that interviews a guy that believes 95% of reptile people are scum. He said it, not me. So if you could please explain to me how I even came close to slamming Justin, feel free to explain.

Makes it look like you have a hidden agenda to me. I dont know Justin or you but to me your post just doesnt sit well.....

Sure, every post that anybody makes suits an agenda. Mine was simply to show Justin's true colors when I see that he's going to use RR for his own personal agenda. Again, he's said a lot of things that he should be held accountable for or questioned thoroughly about. If my post doesn't sit well with you, perhaps it's merely because the truth can be ugly once it's exposed.

To clear the air though, I don't necessarily have a beef with Justin other than his overall attitude with the hognose community. Like I said, he's said a lot of blatant and irresponsible things online that a lot of people have no clue about that I think people should know if they are going to make an informed opinion about him. Personally, I do not know him nor have I ever done business with him. Therefore, my only problem with Justin are those things which he publicly states himself.

I dont know what was said on kingsnake because I dont go there. Maybe a pm to BT or Larry would have been more appropriate.

Perhaps that is true, maybe a PM to either BT or Larry would have been more appropriate. And again, if my post goes against any of the guidelines here, it was not my intention to do so. If either Larry or BT want any of the posts of Justin's that I have saved that were deleted from KS during these discussions to prove what I say to be true, then I will gladly forward them if asked for. :)

I wont get into it here and I am not defending Justin. Call in on Saturday and ask him some questions.....

To be honest, I really don't have any questions for Justin. After having seen the things he's posted for the last couple of years, I think I understand where the guy is coming from. Plus, I don't know the relationship between Justin and BT and Larry and I would hate to interrupt their show with this kind of stuff which is why I decided to say my little piece here instead.

Maybe so, but Justin grows his animals up pretty fast. If memory serves me right, I believe he has even mentioned getting females up to size in a year......... I would not be surprised at anything justin pulls out of his hat.

Really looking forward to this show, the 1st is one of my most listened to shows on RR.
have done business with justin recently and can't fault his service or the quality of his animals.
I probably have the largest group of his Extreme Red Albinos in the uk.
Rextiles, ks is the home of vanishing posts, and certainly not just ones from Justin !!

Missed the chat myself, but enjoyed the recorded show! Had to laugh about all those calls falling off as soon as you guys picked 'em up - nobody wanted to be the _first_ caller, when they knew what was waiting for the _second_, I guess, LOL!!
