Do you guys with automatic water systems ever flush your lines? If so, how do you do it?

Until now, I've only soaked clogged valves in vinegar. I've never cleaned the lines. I recently had a major clog and it got me thinking about flushing the whole system.

I do if the lines have been sitting stagnant on empty bins for awhile. I have a mouse rack that I was given that sat for 8 months. I flushed the lines but I'm still cleaning/replacing nozzles from it sitting. They are either not working or leaking so OH JOY I've gotten to fix a few minor floods.

The easyest way to flush the lines is take the end off of the bucket valve and screw it on a hose hookes to your house. Take the sippers loose and take a small piece of hose and hook the hose to the top fitting and let it rip. Do it outside or somewhere it does not matter because crud will fly.....

I haven't flushed lines, only cleaned nozzles. I also clean the reservoir whenever I see little floaties in the water.
