The Hearing on HR2811 aka 'The Python Ban' in the House Judiciary Committee, Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism & Homeland Security has been postponed. Originally scheduled at 12 pm November 5th, it has been rescheduled for 10 am November 6th. Please use this opportunity to call the Subcommittee and sponsors and voice your opposition to HR2811. Sent more faxes and made more calls today.

We must be making an impact because the first 6 Congressmen on the list blew me off after the first sentence of the script...they seemed very agitated and just wanted to mark down my opposition and hang up. :rolleyes:

When I make these calls I can't tell you how much I loath this process. It's the only way to have my voice heard, but seems so insignificant and powerless. But I know it has to be done....a dirty job that you just have to do, like changing a baby's diaper (smells the same too). :o
