I kind of hesitate to put this here because it could be legit but anyone knows its hard to find an adult gtp for this price and have as much blue in it as this one does. i guess you could say this would be the steal of the year if it's legit. a breedable bluephase gtp for 350.00 shipped?

Watchdog rules.....
When starting a Watchdog thread either copy and paste the ad in questions or post a screen shot of the ad. Do not just post a link to the ad. Links die extremely fast so they are borderline worthless in a day or two.
Also in the inital post be sure to include the reason for it to be posted in the Watchdog section. Do not just leave it up to the readers to figure out. If you believe the ad to be a scam, then include that information in your inital post.
Include business or breeder names in title. This way it's easily viewed and spotted in a search.
Thanks

1. that's not anywhere near a real "blue line" animal. it's just some sort of highland/jaya/sorong.
2. the intensity of the blue is brought on by a flash and is referred to as "digital blue".
I would say that price is cheap, but it's just a mutt male with no papers so it ain't gonna command any more than $500 at most. Again, blue stripe and blue line are two totally different things.
If it was mine i'd be selling it for a little more, but not much. Unless it was puppy tame, that adds to the price for "show pets", but not for breeders.

Gonna say the same thing, not blue phase, just a typical sorong/jaya/what have you locality. Also, is it captive bred? Most imports are sold at that $350 price tag.

You can have a family tree that can link back the stock to exactly where it came from....some of the tree's I have seen go back to w/c stock imported in during the 70's and you can see all the different linage throughout the years and what other animals are mixed into it.
So yeah in a way and AKC type of thing...

Honestly I'm not sure...they might use some form of family tree program that is normally used for people, I have seen some elaborate ones with pictures and zoo names along with id's, dates, dob's, number of eggs, etc....

There is no "form". It can be presented however. "Papered" gtp's can easily be tracked via previous owners and producers. Part of the paper trail is having the receipt of purchase from the breeder. Reputable breeders that work with specific lines also keep track of who they sold their animals to.
As to your specific comment, how can you verify your animals are indeed F2 from wild stock? That's where you start.
