I just got this little guy in this morning from Mr. Dave Prada of Komodo Reptiles. I've wanted another Scrub for years and couldn't be happier with this one. Pictures are bad but I just wanted to get a few and leave him alone.

Thanks guys. I especially like the half-of-a-pipe hides for animals in quarantine since they're so cheap to make they can be thrown away afterward.

Thanks Tim! He's pretty feisty when I was putting him into the tub he struck a couple times but couldn't quite grab on, but then when I was filling the waterbowl he managed to grab me, he already has quite a reach. My mother was there when I first picked him up out of the deli cup and asked me "what if he bites you?" and I (half) jokingly said "a bite to the nose is how scrubs say hello!"

very cool critter man... occassionally a really placid one will surface, but they are usually pretty feisty! Once it settles in, post some more shots! I really like barnecks!

I really appreciate the comments, everyone. Here he is after a meal. He seems to be settling in nicely. I love his red coloration, but it will be really fun seeing him change as he ages.
