I went down to Birmingham this morning to the show and was surprised to see the number of vendors and visitors there. This is traditionally a small show, but I have noticed the numbers growing as the year has gone by.There were some really nice morphs there for the Ball Python lovers.Lots of Poison Dart frogs, and of course Gecko's.Prices were fair on the ball pythons. And I was proud to see that.I am not a fan of the market crashers. And no,Belcher was'nt there.I did look for him though,I wanted to give him my opinion on a few things.Just give him something to think about on his way home:greenman:
I picked up a few things.Had my eye on a PowerBall, but he would'nt budge on the price at all.I hope to see this show grow. There is not a lot of breeders around here,or shows.I kind of live on an Island here by myself relative to the Ball hobby.
Larry,BT,hope you guys try to come down one weekend.Next month's show will be really big.Anyone that lives close enough to make it,let me know and we will hang out for a while.

We had a big group go to this month's show, and all stayed at a local hotel for the weekend. Sean Bradley and Tim Bailey only stayed Friday night, but we still had a blast drinking and hanging out all Friday night in one of the rooms. We had folks coming in from GA, FL, AL, LA, and MS for the weekend (about 20 of us). Got to pick up my new YB female from Tim Bailey and my spider male from Ed Duepree, and picked up a little abberant albino cali king at the show.

I drove back yesterday.

This particular group goes every April and November. Although I think a few may be vending in January. I'm only 2 hours away, so I may hit the road for that.

Belcher hasn't been vending there in the last few years - at least not since I've been going.

The Powerball wasn't for sale (the one I saw on Primeval Beauty's table) and I know that Tim had a few Spotnoses available on his table. Was there another Powerball there that I missed?

I missed all the fun! I am about 1hr 45 mins. away from Birmingham.I did'nt get to talk to Tim,but did talk to Sean for a while.Nice guy. That was the same Powerball. He would seel it,but it was going to cost some serious money, for me at least.Steve Beamer was his name.Talked to him for a while also.He has some really cool projects going with the spotnose.Alone I am not a fan of that gene, but when it is plugged into other morphs it changes things up a lot.Hate I missed meeting you.If you go next month let me know.Be nice to meet a fellow BUSH Leaguer:cheers:

I doubt I'm going in December, but January is possible!
