Kevin accuses a lot of people of stealing from him. I know of 2 situations where he falsely accused someone of stealing from him in the last 2 months.

Well being one of Kevin's closest friends I also know of loads of people who have stolen from him and who have been caught both on video and redhanded. All big breeders/retail employers have it going on so he's right to be suspicious of people. Heck...nothing like someone having an axanthic killerbee show up in their collection right after Kevin has one come up missing. I thought it was a great deal for the guy since he only paid $400.00 for it.

yeah.....I guess if you look at it from Kevin's perspective, and had an axanthic killerbee stolen and mysteriously show up in someones collection, I'd be runnin' my mouth too! I don't blame him one bit for being suspicious. One of the disadvantages of being a big fish I guess?

Kevin actually has had quite a number of animals stolen...some recovered and some not. You are right...the more animals the harder it is to keep track of every single one.

Well if Kevin keeps having $1000+ items stolen over and over he is a dumb ****. It would only have to happen once before I did something serious about having it not happen again. Or he obvisouly doesnt really care until he is low on $ to go have fun with.

Be there everyday and work closely with your collection, I dont care if its 200,000 animals. If you are in there everyday looking thru different tubs and people see that they are much less likely of stealing. And if you are going on vacation or what not then you make a short list of people who will work. If you come back and something is gone well it was either A, B, or C.

Well its has been said he has had snakes stolen more than once and if anyone is stealing low end stuff then they are the idiots. And sure kevin should be irritated by petty theft. Also you mentioned the axan. Killer bee being lifted and if those snakes are under $1k then i'm getting a pair.

Yes people are idiots and they steal anything from an emperor scorpion to birds to snakes. A single Axanthic killerbee was stolen and the guy was caught.

I've heard stories from other large operations also of people stealing snakes so it's just not NERD. I've been told of people walking out with snakes in their pockets, in the trash when they take it out at the end of the day...only to return later to pick up their stash, saying an animal died when it's really at the employees house, and all kinds of others stories.

Look at all of the shoplifters in department stores...and they have full time security. Sorry but it's a fact...there's always someone that wants something you have and there are people who aren't afraid to steal it...no matter how careful you are.
