My boiler is leaking. Its about to die. This weekend I will be installing a new boiler. Just what I wanted to do. Somebody stab me in the eye with a steak knife.

I wanted to go see pretty snakes and lizards and meet some of the Bush-League crew. Waaaaaaaaah

whack it out saturday, unless it's an old cast-iron two-day monster.
you gotta go V... phil, jas, onionboy, hell i may even be there !
i can send my boiler-changing buddy up to help you saturday if you can get the new one on site by friday night. he ain't cheap, but he sure is easy !

Its not so much the job thats hard its that my boiler guy who's bringing all the gear can only do it this Sunday. If I let him slip it could be weeks until he has time again.

My boiler is leaking. I have to fill it like 10 times a day. I tried the tricks, the stop leak stuff, didnt do it. Gotta get this fixed. She is gonna die any day now and then Im SOL. My whole house will freeze solid except the reptile rooms they'll be fine they have additional electric heat. Looks like I might be bunkin' with the lizards if the boiler goes.

make sure you got an extra sledge hammer handle ready for when the first one cracks (if you have to bust it out) so you don't have the down time from the depot run while the short winter day clock ticks. you can always return it if you don't use it.
that's a drag, i hadta play landlord last weekend, i hope we all get through the rest of the winter without any further ugliness !

It sucks. I was looking forward to the show. But I cant risk putting this guy off and then my boiler going kaplooey in the middle of the night. Then Im dead. He gets awesome prices on his boilers. And hes cheap as hell. He works full time for the gas company and does this on the side. So its gravy money for him. A REAL plumber would charge I dont even wanna think about it.

The boiler is small. I wont have to smash it. Ive done that before. Not much fun. This puppy can be handtrucked out with two guys once its stripped.

Ive worked on plenty of boilers but Ive never replaced one start to finish on my own. And I dont mess with steam boilers too much. Most of the onces Ive dealt with are oil powered hot water base or forced hot air. Plus I wanna do an automatic feed on this thing and I really need a tech on hand.

Have to catch the next one. Tell the bikini girls to stay waxed.

Im not going to the one this month but plan to go for the first time to one on Jan 25

just found out the bikini team got a better offer from an ice-fishing tournament in norway that weekend, unlimited hot cocoa and all the anchovies you can eat, plus they each get to keep a furry hat with the tourney logo on it. how can we compete with that ?
