Got into darts back in the spring and finally got this tank together for a pair of Dendrobates (imitator) intermedius. Enjoy and excuse the cords...LCD mounted above and haven't tidied up...

Awesome setup Bro! I have always been fascinated with these types of setups but lack the discipline to for upkeep. Congrats!

I love the dendros, but I like animals I can hold and they aren't great for that. It's awesome to see someone with the discipline to do it, though...

Nice. I can see its holding humidity great. The dendros must be lovin' life.

I like the oak too!

But where are the froggies! Want see froggies! LOL!

Actually my naturalistic tanks are mostly maintenance-free. I spend more time changing out paper-towels and egg-crate in "unnatural set-ups. Just add plants, spray and feed the animals.

Very nice, I am going to assume auto watering and the whole 9 yards...

Thanks Jeff. Nope this tank is in our bedroom. Wanted to add a rack of frogs in there, but decided to keep this one solo. The tanks downstairs will have misters running though ;)...

Very nice looking setup =)

Thanks

Thanks much. I've just a pair of Dendrobates (imitator) intermedius in there...

Nope I wouldn't advice cuddling with these guys. Most of my collection (some 200 or so animals) consists of animals I never hold and am fine with that. I can appreciate others that like to hold though...get some varanus...

Indeed I rarely let it "Dry-out"...being thumbnails they do feel quite comfortable in such a "spacious" enclosure.

I'll try to get some decent pics of them with my slr, but the male has been guarding the eggs lately (mostly out of view).

Thanks again for all the compliments.

That thing is awesome. Everything looks very healthy. What type of lighting are you using for the plants? What is the vining species that you have in there?

I have to agree......natural enclosures are much less upkeep than what you would think. The plants do a lot of the work for you.

Great looking set up!:yourock:
