Bad thing about a question like this is...

There's always going to be crummy looking and good looking examples of every morph.

I wouldn't hesitate to pay more than market for an extraordinary example of a morph.

Your best choice would be to pair for the morph you'd most like to see hatch out....

Bumblebee gives you more genes to the mix, but like everyone says, breed what you like and not for the money. :yessir:

For me the decision wouldn't be made by finical determination here but more so on the base of what I wanted most myself....:yessir: Heck I'm still trying het pieds when i could buy a actual pied right now today.....just because I want to see one hatch out that I bred myself....Something like that is priceless to me....I know I'm making decisions not in my best and quickest path to the top money making abilities that I could....but it's never been about money for me....I do believe though if you stick with what you really want and stay focused not just on the quickest way to the most money in do time things will pay off.....But that's just me

Trust me Im not in it for the money If I get anything nice they will be holdbacks for myself,It will take years for me to break even on what I have now:). I just love what Fires do for all morphs & have some nice ones in my collection, just wondering the value & market value of the animals today.

Well,

To me unless you have over 500 snakes and you are thinking about combos, I guarantee the next season it will be flooded with what ever you where thinking about breeding. The best advice is definitely to breed what you like. It is hard to sell animals you really don't believe in. Breed what makes you happy and be the best at it.

Bill

Yeah John thats me exactly,I think anything from those parings would be exciting for me so I think Ill just lay that fire & bee on all of them;) see what happens when they hatch! Did'nt mean to offend any Bush leaguers out there because Im as Bush league as it gets myself!:)

I like fires as well.....I want to get one or two when I get a chance as well as a desert....Right now it's more I need to make more cage room then I can't afford any  Been working on expanding the rodents first and then I will get back to expanding on the snakes....got get the food source in check first though  I'm hoping raising my own rodents eventually will be a lot nicer :dunno:

I'd suggest thinking about what you could breed your choice of fire combo (Whatever you hatch out this season) to next year as well or the year after... think a few years down the road, it may help make the decision easier....

Bright is what is popular. Bumblebee, firefly, deserts, yellowbelly combo stuff and of course just about all lesser combos are in demand. If you have fire stock then work on your fireflies and such.. Good luck

About show prices, I wouldn't know..

Exactly! Which is why I love my colubrids. I could care less if what I want to breed isnt selling as long as I get the thrill of seeing that head poking out of the egg. Better than Christmas!

......about the pieds. Trust me John, it will be the best decision you ever made to NOT buy a pied. I know this might sound cliche, but seeing one hatch instead is pricesless! You will jump up and down........that's what I did anyways!

.....and to stay in good graces with the thread, I'd have to agree with Larry. Bright is "in"........and will always be "in".
