Jst wondering if there was anyone else here working with them??
Alot of people think i am a bit strange for have a nice collection of.
But personally i like the mean little SOB's!!
I don't keep any, but as a boy I used to catch blue racers all the time. Yup, they do have an attitude :lmao:

Hell someone has gotta work with them poor little guys :lol: I'm glad you like them that's cool =) Got any pictures of them??? I had a black racer when I was younger and boy was it mean as HELL.

I saw some black racers the other day at a pet store! The girl wouldn't even open the cage so I could look at them lol. They were some psychotic little bastards lol.

Handling racers safely should be a prerequisite before people are allowed to keep venomous...those are fast and bitey little bastages!

I work with a lot of wild racers when in the field and they do have quite the attitude.
If I could ever find anyone offering CB I probably would be interested.
With such an active sight hunting snake, do they require a pretty large enclosure?

I have only had succes keeping my Raer and Whips like Indigo's.In large enclosures with a built in hid that has a drop down door.
I tried racks and AP cages but for some reason it seemed more difficult to gt tem feeding etc.
Ill be getting some pics up at some point.There a pain to get pics of even with a fast shutter speed.

I heard some place that working with coachwhips for a time was a prerequisite. They'd deffinately be good practice.
