On pages 82-83 are heart wrenching pics of Blood Pythons strung up in Indonesia and being skinned. It has a paragraph telling why they do it.I know it's part of their culture, but I can't stand it.It says they are hung up by their necks and filled woth water and air to make it easier to skin them. Two page Picture. I know where my sisters purse was made now.It is a 100% Blood Python skin-lined purse.:machinegun:

There are people that say the same thing about rabbits, deer, raccoons etc. Just a different region, different animal. :dunno:

I've seen the blood python videos from over there...

Pretty gut wrenching.

It is no different from any other animal, I've done it to snakes in the past for the beetle albeit mine died from other causes but if I lived in an area where they are as accessible as are rabbits, raccoon and deer are here I probably would use them just as I did the local stuff for the beetles and my own plate...

I understand the purpose for doing it. I just hate to see it. And I will be the first to admit that the 3 pounds of Deer meat I have in the freezer makes my mouth water.
