Was feeding a few of the big girls...using my 2' hemostats to dangle a rat in front of a 7' female...

She lunged right for the rat, but at the last moment, veered off course, slamming right into my left hand, which was resting on the edge of the door...

I managed to pull away and she wasn't able to wrap, but I am just horrified at how accurate her aim was for the heat on my left hand:eek:, it was more than half the cage lenth away from the rat in front of her face, LOL.

In the future...all warm blooded extremities..., outside the cage:D

What you mention a bite and NO pics?

I avoid that by having my feeders hotter than me. Once thawed out they get covered in near scalding hot water. My boas haven't missed yet.

LOL...sorry...needed to get the bleeding stopped first...my carpet is really light colored...

She only got a few teeth in here...but they went deep...from the swelling already, my pinkie will probably rival my thumb in size by morning...I can barely move it...

I can't feel any teeth so far...I think I got off pretty lucky...she's got one huge head for her size....

thats good stuff my female BRB is a heat seeker so i wash my hands with cold water and make sure the rat is hotter then me..but honestly most times i just chuck in it and ring the dinner bell and she is well trained ha ha

Lol yeah that sounds like my big king :D. He's always ready to go when there's food around. As soon as I open his tub he's popping out mouth open ready to eat whatever is in front of him. I just have to watch where his head is when I open it up and make sure the mouse or rat is right there waiting for him lol.

That's why I don't dangle feed my big girls any more, but rather toss it in close to them, and leave. LOL I've had way too many over strikes, and Boa teeth in my hands and fingers.

Some I can do this with, but this girl is a weirdo...she won't strike if I don't wave it...I've tried tossing the rats in, she prefers to lay on them....

Definitely lucky, considering how hard she usually hits those rats...the only reason it wasn't waaaaaaaay worse is she only got me with two sets of her teeth from an odd angle, LOL
