Has anyone done it? And if so did the babies look better then the parents?

I would think it would have to clean up a little? I dunno Maybe I just would want it too. :lol:

However I think most breeders would rather use their 1.0 supers & 0.1 supers for breeding to other morphs to make more pastel combo's... I would imagine after a while they might clean up some after a generation or two...

Well I've never done it so I can't say for sure if the babies would be "nice" but I know that you would get 100% super pastels which would be pretty sweet! They would be getting two copies of the allele for pastel from each parent so they would be homozygous (super) pastel form.

Sorry if you know all this already, I'm just spouting off lol. I think that while you may not have all the babies come out looking spectacular you'd have a much better chance of getting one or two that are great looking, plus you wouldn't have much trouble at all selling the ones you don't decide to keep.

depending on the supers appearance and colors. yes you can potentially get better offspring. this is why selective breeding works yet many dont focus on that.

I guess it depends on what your super pastels looked like... if you're breeding some skanky looking super pastels that look like standard pastels...then I'd guess no..breeding super to super wouldn't clean them up... but if you have nice to smoking hot supers and breed them together... you're gonna throw hot babies.

But like the others have said...I don't know if I'd "waste" a female adult super pastel on a male super...

I dont think anything could clean up Baker.......Oh you mean the babies, I think he said it did some?
