Well, here's the continuation of the photoshoot last night :D. This is Thor. He's my big old bloodred cornsnake (1200g and over 5 feet!). Some people have suggested that he may be a hybrid rat/corn which I don't discount but he's got the head pattern of a corn, he's definitely got all the signs of being a bloodred and he's got the corn personality. He's a bit of a fattie and I've had him on a diet for a while (an xl mouse every 10 days) but he still manages to gain weight so I'm probably gonna move him to a new enclosure soon, something bigger with stuff to climb around and more room to move (he's in a 41qt tub right now but he's usually just sitting in the corner). He's got some scars on him from his previous home, I don't really know what happened but judging from his feeding response (or really lack thereof) a mouse or rat got a couple good chomps on him. They're fully healed, the just look scary.

He's a freakin sweetheart and the calmest snake I own, he'll even let people pet his head!

I think he was just getting ready to shed in these pics so it's not quite his full color but he's still beautiful.

Thanks! No little lady lined up yet. I've got 1.2 snows, 0.2 motleys, 1.0 anery het opal and 0.1 ghost that I'm getting up to size right now so if I don't have a bloodred female by then I'd probably breed him with one of the snows and/or maybe the ghost and get some cool hets. I'd rather get a nice blood to go with him though just don't have the $ for that right now.

Lol yeah I just noticed that too :D. It really says Atomic Balls (I'm sure you saw that) which is going to be my website eventually. It's kind of just a play off of the old Atomic Ball bouncy ball and my old nickname. Everyone used to call me the Adam Bomb when I was a kid because I was a freaking terror and LOVED to destroy stuff lol.

Thanks! He's a puppy dog. I took him up to NERD right after I got him (I picked him up at a pet store for $50 lol) and had him around my neck while Kara was showing me around. Well, we went into the rodent room because I was going to pick up some mice from her and I'm standing there holding one and I just see this red head come from the right and start sniffing him lol. I had TOTALLY forgotten that he was around my neck and we're standing in the middle of a freaking all you can eat buffet. He was still cool as the other side of the pillow, never even tried to bite.

IDK man I've only had him for a good 3-4 months or so now. I actually found him in a little pet store that I get feeders from once in a while and even though I swore I would never get a snake from a pet store again after my first one I bit the bullet on him just cuz he was such a dang cool looking snake and like I said I love bloodreds :D.
