I'm going to start a build of my small snake room. I wanted to start a thread on the build as it unfolds.

Soon as I get some pics, I'll post the start. I already started some of the build. It's 8'x3'x4' with AC and heater controld by a day and nigth controller. I need the AC for the triple diggets we get here in Central Cali. The room is locaided in my garage.

What kind of stuff do you plan on keeping in there? For the size, I'd suggest some fans to keep the air circulating vertically. That way you can avoid too much hot/cold variation between top and bottom enclosures.

I'm going to have a small fan and a inline fan on a timer to change the air. I'm keeping some carpets.

You could probably get 4 four foot cages in there. Keep in mind, though, to quarantine in another area.

I'll get pics soon. I'm going back and fort with four 4 footers or 3ft long 2ft deep and 2ft tall. I'm going to have a pair of JCP and a pair of het granit IJ.

I quarantine every thing in my bed room.

I've kept adult IJ's and Jungles in 4 footers, and feel the 3's would be a little too small. They definitely take advantage of the extra room.

I was thinking the same. I'm also looking into a 3'x3'x2'.

hey, like Jenea said......just get a photobucket account. Then upload the pics to photobucket, then copy the link and paste in your post. If you want to get fancy in between the steps, you can do things like resize your pics and adjust the contrast and things like that.

It seems like a lot of work to post the pics but once you go through the process a time or two, it's a piece of cake.
