Just curious...which is correct? I see that "Hogg" is pretty common, but I've heard that 'Hog" is actually the correct spelling.

What say you?!

I do not have a clue, but have seen both used.

I believe it was Gus Rentfro who corrected me... There is NO second G in Hog Island. I even read once that HOGG refers to a cross. But i see it spelled "Hogg" all the time being advertised as "pure". "Hog Island" is correct.

I've seen it spelled both ways and use Hogg myself, but if it's Hog then I'll try harder to do it the right way :)

I believe Hog is correct but it really doesn't matter to me. It's close enough either way :)

A Hog Island Boa....

That should explain the difference.

Gus is correct though. It's "Hog Islands" or Cayos Cochinos Boa. The islands are Cochino Grande, and Cochino Poqueno (if I remember correctly).

I don't like the term Hogg Island Boa, as much as I dislike Columbian Boas and Hypo Boas. Don't ask why, I'm just weird like that.
