That's some neat stuff right there
The Rev 02-17-2010, 11:42 PM Never seen one of them....
Very cool!! And I can not believe that you got that on your cell phone! By the time that I #1 figured out how to get to camera, and #2 Figured out how to zoom, that deer would be in the next county!! Great job!
Buckskin 02-17-2010, 11:48 PM I just saw a show about Albino deer.
They said about one half of them don't have red eyes.
Pretty cool.
Sputnik 02-18-2010, 02:31 AM Nice job capturing that!

bamasmith 02-18-2010, 07:17 AM LOL...We saw him running toward us.He could'nt figure out where to go because the property is fenced in.We actually stood there for a solid minute watching to see where he would go...I zoomed in on the pic I took. Not while I was taking it....But,I guess I do have a pretty good cell-camera trigger finger..LMAO!

Very cool you could get that close. Feed him and you just may be able to pet him.
JOHNS6068 02-19-2010, 12:55 AM That is pretty cool :yessir:
Larry 02-19-2010, 08:15 AM If you have a chance to blast it or any other white deer, check your local laws first. Here in my county it's illegal to shoot any white deer..
Since seeing a white deer is so rare, the Indians say just seeing one is suppose to bring good luck and fortune.. Lucky you
SNSnakes 02-19-2010, 03:37 PM From the size, it looks like last year fawn. Probably why it's running around all stupid and lost...no experience.
bamasmith 01-06-2011, 10:26 PM Well guys,I just got a call from a hunting friend of mine...this little buck was shot this afternoon..Pitiful..he had become a pet of ours at work.He was safe as long as he stayed near the water treatment plant..He was taken 3 miles of our property..Last time I saw him,he was growing his antlers and looking sharp..I was afraid of this.I would have never let Preston shoot him if we had ever seen him out...Dude was just too cool to observe.

One of the albinos or a normal? I don't see a pic. Sorry to hear this either way. You get used to them hangin' around and it's like somebody shot your pet.
beautiful
watch it ...a frightened deer will run right over you . sometimes they jump my 6' chain link which is 1 1/2 acres and we dont herd them out on foot any more . too dangerous .
a deer tame or wild can and will attack you . when they stand up on their hind legs believe me you dont stand a chance . they will beat the hell out of you with their hooves . been there .
robin 01-06-2011, 11:22 PM very cool! is that a whitetail?

That really sucks. I always thought it was illegal to shoot an albino deer?

I am sorry . What a jerk .

Not in MN. No difference according to the game laws.
bamasmith 01-07-2011, 08:57 PM I'm not crying over it.I just felt sorry for it.We could tell other deer around would have nothing to do with it..I'm positive once he was strong enough, and figured out how,he would jump over the fence at will..And around here, the law means little when it comes to hunting.Same can b said for the whole Tennessee valley area...That's what they call this part of country.

Yup, poachers will do what poachers do. I've got the same problem up here.
