If you listen to them play, the person who gets the thing going will usually yell at the broomers telling them which way it needs to go. I didnt think the brooming makes it go faster. Closest rock wins.:dunno::dunno::lmao: That's what I thought! And then I watch the USA men's team purposely toss a rock off to the side...huh? What really got me confused was when they were playing the French (the French curl??)....France slides their last rock, knocks out the only USA rock "in the house" (all this new terminology to learn...lol) landing their rock damn near on the button. The USA comes back with their last rock, knocks out the France rock, BUT the USA rock continues on out of the house...no points for anyone! Dumb, dumb, dumb. No wonder the USA team is down 5 losses and (finally) 1 win. If you listen to them play, the person who gets the thing going will usually yell at the broomers telling them which way it needs to go. I didnt think the brooming makes it go faster. By brooming, the friction melts the ice and the rocks will slide better/faster on wet ice. I understand that part. I thought the trampoline in the summer olympics was bad. Hopefully the next sports they introduce will be kick ball, dodge ball and for the winter snow ball fight and team snow man building. |
