I have no idea why they chewed, they'd just hit a corner area and boom, like they had C-4 hidden away or something.

I'm using the sterilite 56 qrt tubs from walmart.... allows for the breeders to breed away without having to pull out the feeders all the time.

I'll get a pic when I can....

I had to put metal around the opening of the boxes to keep the mice from chewing and it works great now.I just stapled it to the top of the rack.......

This is top secret stuff you are about to see and after my fair share of chews I have been good for over a year now! :) The metal you can get at Home Depot or Lowes, it is the drives they use to hold duct work together. It is split down the middle on the top side and I just slid them together then stapled the frame up and wala......

I run the vaness small pans in this rack but they are the same for the mediums.......

Looks great. I like how you did your tracks. I need to re-work a few of the tracks on my racks.

What kind of mesh is that.

I knew someone was going to ask that! It is called diamond mesh and it is for plaster walls but I do not really recommend it......

If you do decide to use the diamond mesh, wear leather gloves when handling it as it is EXTREMELY sharp.

That is why I dont really recommend it! The rodents do ok with it but it is a major pain in the a$$ to work with! Live and learn......

I learned just by touching a sheet at HD. I didn't buy the sheet but I left a nice bloodtrail all the way outside to the parkinglot lol.
