I do not think they were that expensive either. I bought mine used three years ago. One had been damaged. Ed said ship it back he would fix it for free. He has never been rude to me in a email. He has never hung up the phone on me two separate times. I have a Boaphile I bought used also. I like the Constrictor northwest cages better. Customer service is worth a few more dollars.

I have Pro-Line and Pro-Style Cages...They are great and I'm switching over slowly to all Pro-Lines...They are extremely durable, Ed has great customer service and they look great too boot!!!...The only negative part and you can't blame Ed is that it does have around a 5 - 6 week turnaround time, depending when you order...And shipping is included in the price whereas others you have to add it on to their cost...

However, they will never get damaged in transit and if they do, Ed will make it right...Unlike some other cages I've ordered and had not so great experiences with and went w/o cages till dealing with the shipping company was straightened out...

Sorry for rambling...PRO-LINE's are :yes::yes: for sure in my snake room...

I have several Prolines.... they are excellent cages.... the most durable on the market..... the best thing is the choice of material he uses... they are made of ABS instead of PVC.... ABS is super slick and nothing sticks to it... urates pop right off..... and the surface is chemically inactive so it doesnt get brittle or stain with age.... seriously .. you could jump up and down on them and they wouldnt break......

He welds the pieces into one solid ABS piece..

If I'm correct his Pro-line cages are made of HDPE (High Density Poly Ethe???), which is what they use in hockey rinks...His Pro-Style cages are ABS and great quality too, but not as indestructible as the HDPE cages. All are heat welded so that there is no leaking and the clean-up is soooooo easy. Way easier than my melamine cages...

That's correct, pandp. HDPE is a great material for cages, I agree. Number one choice in my opinion.

ABS, while visibly smooth and slick feeling, is definitely not easy to clean like HDPE is. Woma python urates in particular form stubborn physical bonds with ABS, to the point that I'd not choose to use it again.

No worries...I get the confused all the time...The only reason I have the terms in my head is cause I just place an order for two more Pro-Lines...
