Monster Snakes has been in talks with former Misfits lead singer Michale Graves! I'm a huge Misfits fan myself. I missed out on seeing the original line up. Just a little too young. But I saw Graves perform with them many times and he was great. I gotta give the nod to Danzig as my all time favorite but as far as other lead singers he was the best MHO.

Glen was always great as a Misfit but I like his SAMHAIN/Danzig work the best.

Michale is a super nice guy and is really enthused with doing some Reptile promotions. I really think reaching out to the music industry will really help promote both industries. Our voice needs to be heard as Reptile people and we are working to bring bigger better things to our industry. Stay tuned...

Danzig is one of the best singers of all time IMO and I would love to do some promoting for him but sad thing is I have talked to a few folks close to him and well the Evil Elvis sad to say is scared of snakes! :rolleyes:

I have been a Danzig fan for years. I loved him in the Misfits.. Infact i had a really hard time accepting the "new" misfits at first. I am happy with the new line-up however. What did you guys think of "The Lost Tracks of Danzig"? Some of the coolest Danzig ever.

Lost Tracks kicks serious ass man! "Pain is like an Animal" is some of the most bad ass metal around and if you have not heard it people? get on it! :D

We got some Misfits fans here. I got a story to tell. Or should I say..."I got somethin' to saaaaaaaaaay!" :)

This was a long time ago. I dont remember the exact year. Might have been 94-95? Anyway I went to a Type-O Negative show at the Roseland NYC on Halloween. What a great night. Buncha lunatics and many of them in costumes.

I'm a big old Type-O fan and we're about halfway into the show and Peter Steele says "Its about time we brought out a real band" and they leave the stage. The crowd is like WTF? The place goes black. And we're all just kinda standin' around wondering what's up. And then WHAM the Misfits skull lights up the back of the stage. Place goes nuts. I crapped myself, LOL! It was actually a surprise no one knew they were doing this. Maybe a few people did I dont know but certainly not me or my crew!

The Misfits hit the stage in full gear and did a short set. Pretty much just the biggies. Martian, Caress, Astro Zombies, 20 eyes, old school stuff. I'm happy to report I was on top of the crowd for the entire length of Last Caress. They finish, crowd goes ballistic, Type-O comes back out and finishes their set.

You lucky dog! Sounds like a great show. Is danzig doing any shows this Halloween? I've seen Danzig twice but I would have LOVED to have seen him with The Misfits or Samhain.

I would have loved to have seen Danzig with the Misfits. There have been several times over the years where rumors floated around about a possible reunion tour. But no go. Danzig doesnt seem to be willing.

I heard a rumor that a few years ago the members of the misfits went to ask Glen to reunite and apparently he slammed his hotel room door in their faces.

Hence...Michael Graves.

I don't know if that is true. Maybe you guys can put some truth to that.

I guess anything is possible but I can confirm that.
