Finally got all the lighting and tank all set for Lily
http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b214/FloridaHogs/Beardied%20Dragons/100_0171.jpg

and while I was taking pics I busted her eating some greens. She is by no means eating them well, more like just to take the edge off...but progress is progress.

Looks great Jenea! The only thing that I would say is to switch the light over to the other side, or flup everything in the tank. Have the highest point in the tank right under the light, so she can get good and close to it if she wants to burn off some of the greens that she's finally eating!

Right now, that basking rock is sitting at 105...whenever she wants to sleep, she climbs to the very top of her ramp, presses her nose in the corner, and dozes off. If I flop everything around she would loose her comfy place. :)

Yeah, gotta love that! Cuz you just know that there are people running around Oz making sure that none of the beardeds are ever actually touching the sand.

I have used millet for substrate with my beardies. It goes right through them. If you are really concerned with impaction. I use sand with no problems at all. I really didn't like the millet it got everywhere. Figured I would throw it out there. I am now trying a topsoil, sand, and peat mixture holds humidity a little better for when they're shedding.

She has gained a little over 10 g in the 5 weeks I have had her. :)

Jeremy says he has got the perfect male for her! Showed a picture to my son, and now he is "nagging" me about her "boyfriend" :lmao: SIGH....who knew I would end up with legged things at my house!
