Hey everyone, I noticed there are alot of JCP keepers here so I thought I would ask a few questions. I am considering getting one in Jan when I go to a reptile show:wamma: .. Anyways my first question, is what are JCPs going for $ at reptile shows?. I am not looking any morphs or anything.. My other question is on there dispositions.. I have seen ones that were BP freindly and ones that were like ATBs lol.. So with all the people here that keep them, in your experiences how is there temperments?..

some are nippy as hatchlings but tend to grow out of it and some are bp friendly as hatchlings. just know who you buy from so that they will be honest about there disposition. if i am not mistaken Bt has a few for sale or did have and he knows alot more about jcp then i do so maybe he will chime in on here and give you more details.

As for price wise, it varies greatly. You can get average looking Carpets for $75-150, or you can get a real stunner for $200 and up. The biggest thing is to see pictures of the parents.

As for personality, some can be nippy as hatchlings. They grow out of it in time, so I wouldn't worry to much. I my male diamond/coastal intergrades was a real biter for a few months after I got him. Now he is very handleable and calm, and you know what, I never held him at all. It's just a baby phase.

Adults are puppy dog tame. Babies can be a little nippy.

Prices depend on quality. $75 to $175
