Love the sunrise pic (Not that the others ain't half bad) looks like you got just enough behind that tree to get the right amount of sun.... very nice job!

Thanks.... that sunrise pic was all done "in camera"... utilizing shutter speed and apature... I DID NOT mess with the colors in Photoshop.. I only added a bit of sharpning and my copyright.

Nikon D80 and for that shot I think a Tamron 28/80 lens

For that first Naja pic... it took some nerves.... trust me... there was nothing between me and him but the lens... and it wasnt long enough :) It was out in the open with me.... but I loved every minute of it.

Awesome shots man. I love the sunrise and the Hognose picture. I shoot with a guy that has a Nikon d80 and I am really impressed with that camera. If I had it to do over again I think I would have bought one.

outstanding work kev.
that vantage of the copperhead is one i've never seen captured before.
and that naja glottis...to die for.(grabs your eye so you almost miss the incredible opalescence on the belly scutes)

Thanks for the kudos.... for the copperhead shot... I was laying on my stomach looking up at it. Its amazing what you can do... if ya just change your position.

John... for the spitting shot... it only took about 45 frames... and that was the only one I got. And I had my D80 on burst. That was a hard shot to get.

Just thought Id throw up a few more

This little guy was around 1/16 of an inch long... I had some serious macro goin on here
Shot with a Nikon D80, Sigma 105mm macro, extension tubes, and 1.4x tele... all setting on a tripod... cause I aint steady enough at that magnafication.

Thanks.... naaa no sweat on the Naja. You wanna see me sweat.... put in a room with a spider and no where to run. First comes the sweats then the heart failure. I DONT DO SPIDERS.... and when I photograph them... I use zoooooooommm
