I just paid for a couple new female JCP's, and want to do some brain pickin". The seller was slow to reply to my initial inquiry, but after she did, I made her an offer and she accepted. Communication was good during the 2 days it took to solidify the deal and send payment via paypal.

Payment was sent to her Friday morning around 9AM EDT along with a request that she confirm receipt and let me know if she could ship today (Monday) for arrival Tuesday morning. After not hearing from her on all day, I sent her an e-mail asking her to confirm payment (initial request was sent with payment, so thought she may not have received it). I still have not heard from her. I just sent her an e-mail to please call or e-mail me, letting her know that I was getting nervous about her lack of communication.

My question is this.....where do I go from here? How long is too long, and how long would any of you wait for communication from someone selling animals you really want to add to your collection? According to the seller, she works for MTV, and is selling because she doesn't have the time to devote to them. Given her job, and the weekend, I'm trying to be patient, but it's starting to wear thin.

Any thoughts? :dunno:

If she was initially slow, it could be those days are bad, give it a couple more and see what happens. If it's still nothing after a couple more days, then I'd cancel that paypal payment and get your money back asap! Sometimes although you really want them, if there's a 'gut hesitation' then mabey it's better that you don't get them.

This is just me, but if I haven't heard back from someone on a Friday evening, I don't expect to hear from them until Monday evening. I know there's days where I don't get around to the computer until 8 or 9 pm at night.

I get real irritated/worried like this sometimes as well.

I am usually able to email people back within a matter of minutes to a couple hours and sometimes I expect the same.

Now I can understand that that may be unreasonable, so I just have to be patient. But when people never respond to PM's or emails I send them, that gets under my skin.
