And it's my fault. I unintentionally left the lid off Bulls tank last night and when I came in the room this morning the whole inside of it was a mess and Bull was no where to be found. Cat got in and had a field day. I feared the worse, a mangled or dead AFT, but found him about an hour ago with only a durf mark on his lower lip. When I'm through kickin' myself I'm kickin' the cats azz. Here are a couple pics of the lip.

Yeah, he was still in fight or flight mode when I caught him. Took a chunk out of my thumb. :wamma:

Been lookin' for the cat to see if she took any damage :D

I am betting the cat got a few bruises as well. Bull looks pretty tough! Glad all survived the ordeal.

I'm thinkin' the cat got away without a scratch. The tank sits on an end table with doors on it for internal storage. Essentially a wooden box :D. Which was pushed up against the wall. He fell down behind there and spent most of the day. Think it all happened to fast. He WAS a little cold too but I think he'll be fine.

Agreed, glad you found the little guy...At least he has 'braggin rights' to say he survived a cat attack, which would be like a freakin' lion to us...

Bless his little heart! Cats are pretty efficient killing machines when they want to be, he's very lucky.

Truth to tell, the cat's a 6 month old kitten. She is more interested in playing than killing I think. Although she HAS spent some time trying to destroy my crickets. I find her in the tub trying to pin them in the corner quite often and have taken to using a squirt gun on here when I catch her :D. Just glad things worked out the way they did. I've had Bull for 5 or 6 years now and would hate to lose him.

Ditch the cat

It belongs to one of my sons' girl friends. I'm seriously thinkin' of tellin' the girl either take it home or I find a new home for it.

Frank, having been in Nam I HAVE had the opertunities to eat some strange and unusual things, and althouth I'd been told dog AND cat were normal tablefare in country, I don't think I've ever had the pleasure. Not sayin' I wouldn't eat cat, but I think if I ate this one the family would disown me :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Shwew. I doubt I would have been so lucky. Bull had a will to live. He has a greater purpose than to go out as a kittens amusings. Busted lip, eh, nothing a few extra plump crickets cant cure.
