Like a few before this, we would like to find some obsolete containers..
Product number 2221 and the base mold number on the bottom is 0137 the lid is 0138..We built a rack for these years back and would like to put it in use but sadly they obsoleted the container..
Thanks..

Boaphile sells a rack for them
so does Animal Plastics.
Maybe try either one of them and see what they can do for you?
These them Tim?

Hey Tim, I have a BARRS rack that takes the #2221. I was trying to get replacement tubs for it a couple of months ago, and a lot of websites claimed to have them in stock. I ordered from two places and received the wrong tubs both times. The companies I ordered from simply told me that they shipped me Rubbermaid's "new" version of the #2221, which is about an inch shorter...no good.
After that, I contacted Paul Mitchell, who distributes the BARRS stuff. He said he looked into getting the actual mold, but it was thousands of dollars and probably wouldn't happen.
In the end, I was poking around the supply closet at work and found a couple of them filled with nuts and bolts. I went to Target, bought a couple of sterilite shoe boxes, and swapped them out with the ones from work.
If you find them, please let me know!

If I do any good I'll let ya know, I built my rack out of 1 inch sq tube and it weighs a ton, bolts together and holds 36 containers but since I built it I'm rather partial to it.. I got a couple leads and hope they pan out..
I also made the containers back in the day, installed the molds and squirted the plastic in the Greenville TX plant..It was obsoleted to pinch gram weight out of the product..Wal Mart or a mega piece order could likely have it installed and run, but not for 36 pieces..:lmao:
