LOL, A blandings and a wood turtle got me a 300 dollar fine a couple years ago :wamma: They're protected species here in Michigan. Would I do it again??? Hmmmmmmmmmm..........maybe:lol:

Ya there protected here to but we know some people that work for the sate so were all good.

I love wood turtles. The blandings was something the boys bought home from out runnin' around. Had him in a tub in the back yard and fed him crawlers and minnows. Was great fun.

I have read books that claim wood turtles are suppose to be in my area but have never seen one yet. I was always hoping to have one when I was younger if I could find one. Always found just box turtles and snappers and pond turtles :lol:

Good stuff man :D. Wish we could have found some of them blandings this summer. Well, I wasn't really around all that much to do it but there's always next year :cheers:

Woodies are the best and stink pots are cool as hell also! Next time take someone who knows something about catching turtles and not that guy...... :)
