Long lens really, I was about 3 foot away so really not that close at all...keep in mind I just moved it so it was pissed and a little bit out of sorts so it took a couple of minutes for it to get going to get out of there...

Nice pic's Jeff....BTW....that's not a slider..it's an Eastern Painted Turtle....keep em coming..I'll identify every species you have in Indiana....lol

LOL, I'll have to finally go get that native reptiles and amphibians book I've seen, at least I got the turtle part right....

Actually same place I took all of the goofy duck and swan pictures in the past...even that goose with the arrow in it.

Hey man if canon products would put gps in the meta data I would be all set...I would love to log my pictures by location, now I am letting my geek side show but I could dig going out to the exact spot that someone created a truly awesome image and attempting to recreate it from exactly where they were standing or even going to a new city and pulling up the images taken from that location to see what is around...you can do that kinda on flickr but only if people include the city in there images :cheers:
