I will breed them next year.....The sunglow female was a little puny in my opinion....

I will breed them next year.....The sunglow female was a little puny in my opinion....

What was her weight bro? I know this isnt a tell all factor and you have to consider the look of the animal overall but I usually use the 300 gram mark for breeding weight on my females.
I waited on my sand hills female for another year too and she gave me a huge clutch of 22 this year. She was at 480 grams so I do believe letting them get a little bigger does help with clutch size a little.

She is like a little over 300g.....I like to wait till she's heavier next year for the exact reason you stated....:cheers:
