OK, I have had Lily since Feb, and she has ALWAYS slept up on her board as close to the screen as possible. It is her favorite place in the whole tank. Got the three smaller ones from Jeremy on Tuesday, and Lily seems to have adjusted fine to their presence, but I walked in tonight to find her like this..

I have never seen her sleeping on the ground before. The little ones seem to like sleeping half buried in the sand, but never Lily until now...so what is up with that?? (BTW if you look real close, you can see one of the others under her tail....they are snuggled:rolleyes:)

That looks about how mine sleep a lot of times....I think I have seen mine laying every thinkable position but upside down on their back...but even that wouldn't surprise if they did

It could be she likes the company of the others and wants to be near them....Mine almost always sleep on the ground...Once in a while mine will sleep on the perch...or half on the perch even

Take one pair from Jenea.
Wouldnt worry about it at all. They do weird things when other beardies are around.
You could have a female for 8 years and get another female, put them together see your 8 year old do things and act like you never have seen her act (and not in a bad way).
Look at it it this way. They are now a colony with a hierarchy.
