I gotta give a big Hell Yeah to all the members of the BLBC.

In a short time and with only a small group we have managed to put together a forum absolutely overlfowing with solid, useful information and amazing pictures of incredible animals. Gee, I dont think I used enough adjectives in that sentence.

Havent seen one "Do a search" or snide remark yet. Whether it was a complex question about genetics or simple basic husbandry. People take the time to REALLY answer a question or provide information.

Example. I didnt know JACK about hognose snakes. Now thanks to Floridahogs I know quite a little bit. Im even getting better with my BP genetics! Whats makes a Queen Bee again?

I am not a newbie, Ive been keeping reptiles going on 30 years. And Ive learned a TON in the short time the BLBC has been around and seen stuff Ive never seen before.

Hats off to everybody. Rock on with your bad selves.

Your exactly right about go do a search thing. I see that a lot on other sites. It's really nice like you said to see so many willing to help others out and not look at them with even the simplest question as if they are stupid either. I myself have learned tons of stuff as well in the short amount of time of being here and look forward to learning more as well. Definitely a big thanks to everyone for what everyone has done on this site :yourock:

I second that. I have been a member for less than a week and I have more useful posts here than on any other forum I have been on. You guys rock!

Yes I too am very happy with the informative posts here at BLBC. I am learning much more than I did at the other forum I frequented so I'm very happy. This is truly Jeff's hobby and I love to help and to learn about it. I've read some of the books we have here but all in all it's reading all the stuff you all post here that impresses me and I remember it.

In the beginning here at BLBC I PMed BT and/or Larry and told them it was a bit intimating with all the folks and all their knowledge. Beyond the 'wow beautiful BP' I was out of my league. I stay here because of the people I have gotten to know and especially for the education I am receiving.

So thanks everyone. It is appreciated.

Oh how I wish there were more ladies like you down here. Maybe I would have a chance of finding one :)

As stated... I have yet to see a "do a search stupid" as a reply to a question. I have been keeping herps since '91 and Im still learning... and I can guarentee I WILL post some stupid questions now and then.

Give you some kind of idea of the members here.... even though me and Steven K. have butted heads on here and another site... he was still willing to share his knowledge on BP genetics.

Keep in mind that we have both talked in private since then.. and all is good.... at least I think it is... we both kinda understand where the other was coming from.

Anyhow.... keep up the good work guys/gals

Definitely a good group of people here, nobody is above answering serious "noob" questions, and I respect that. Too many forums the members get "high and mighty" on new members with valid questions, I too have yet to see this occur here, and I think it's because of the helpful atmosphere.

It's addictive is what it is.... could become federally outlawed if it gets any more so, just gotta see what the next thread holds.... I get the shakes if I don't get on here enough.... lol

I think what helps is people have a genuine passion for the keeping of reptiles. And that's what the bush league is about I think....

i for one tam find your presence here an extremely valuable asset.
never underestimate how important balance can be to an organization.
if everybody on here was a know-it-all like V, what the heck would we need a forum for ?
it's like the old adage about partnerships...if both of us think the same, act the same, and do the same, one of us doesn't need to be here !
keep up the good work here kiddo, we need 'ya,

One of the things I like best about this forum compared to others is that there's a HUGE variety of animals being discussed. And none of the forums are dead. I've learned about and taken interest in a few new animals since joining this forum that I'd never really heard much about before. Not to mention the more laid back environment!

It's a one stop shop! For all your herping needs! :D Which is why it's my new homepage ;)

Thanks, I was just trying to say there is already a few forums with NO Drama! Why have another? LOL! IMO, a forum without any drama is a Nevermind.....

I have to agree. We have drama here from time to time because we are real. I really feel, that the members feel like they can speak their mind if they wish. Obviously at times that may create a little tension but it has always worked itself out naturally without completely muting the conversation..
